I bought this board plus an P6T7 for exactly what was advertised on them, read what is printed on your box, it clear say ECC and Xeon support, and I don't want/need SuperMicro stuff.

So far I saw just one user/ASUS developer, bingo13 that reported 24 GB of RAM(not ECC) working, using specific Samsung RAM, rest fail all over, and no word about ECC, other then testing and validating...

Do I have to say is bad to advertise something that dosen't work?
Or how much time we have to wait to get stuff working as it should on first place?

I didn't said boards are bad, in fact they are a beautiful piece of hardware, but BIOS support sucks, that's it!
Except overclocking features, or new CPU support, released on this users forum pressure, and competitors, there is no improvement or bug fixes!

I hope this time I was clear enough...
I have 24GB of the listed Samsung ECC memory working just fine. We are in final qualification testing for Micron based modules now. ECC Registered will not work correctly and will not be qualified by Intel on the X58 platform. Other than updating the controller firmware I am not aware of other "bugs" and those contacted have not responded.
