    Lightbulb Rig(s) power consumption

    One simple question:
What is your rig(s) power consumption ?

And let`s make this even more interesting. A little competition. Sorry, no prize.
    Rules are here:
-WCG running and GPU at idle.
-Max power consumption in watts (W)
    -Only computer

    One rig:
    : erikmorgan Intel Core Duo T2050 (laptop) @ 1.6 ATI Mobility Radeon™ X1300 49.3w 2068 PPD
    : sRHunt3r SR-2 Two Xeon 5680's @ 4.3 @ 1.3875 ATI 5770 stock 650w
2 or more rigs: (All rigs combined)
    : erikmorgan combined 478.9
    : sRHunt3r combined 1700W
    Movieman category:
    X5670 on a SM X8DA3 @3070MHz( on turbo) 330watt 100% load, Daily production of 81-82,000WCG PPD, So 330w for 81,000+ PPD..Match those numbers?

I think you get point of those pictures.
If not, here explanations: = lowest consumption and = is the opposite of .

And myself: Max power consumtion is 147W, one rig only. And I`m not participating for obvious reasons. You got more efficient rigs than mine.

Moderators: If there are thread like this, feel free to remove.

I know that but it`s not exactly like this. It compares PPD/W not total power consumption. This could be only computers power consumtion not PPD/W.

is this a competition for the lowest power consumption or the highest? i think this greatly limits people able to participate. most WCG members on here do not also crunch/fold with GPU's, but i think everyone with a folding/crunching GPU also does WCG. i forgot exact numbers, but here is my highest and lowest rigs, only listing main hardware that will affect power consumption:

    i7-930 @ 3.6ghz @ 1.13v
    gtx295 @ 600/1600/1200 @ stock volts
    450w

    i7-920 @ 4ghz @ 1.20v
    gtx260 @ stock speed @ stock volts
    330w

    i3-530 @ 4ghz @ 1.21v
    gt240 @ 600/1460/1700 @ stock volts
    140w

WhiteFireDragon, it`s both . And I can change rules so it fits better in WCG.
Rules changed: Only WCG need to be running and GPU idle.

Not too bad when you consider it does more PPD than 4 Sossmans.

i just measured one more rig, so i guess you can add that to my total:

    i7-860 @ 3.5ghz @ 1.20v
2x gt240 all stock speed and voltage
    245w

i have a couple other ones crunching that i haven't measured yet.

Just one to open peoples eyes to what's possible:
    X5670 on a SM X8DA3 @3070MHz( on turbo)
    6x1 gig DDR3-1333 ECC
Old Leadtek 7800GTX( this has got to go! )
single 320 gig Seagate Sata drive
    PCP+C 750w(red)
    4x80mm case fans
    330watt 100% load
    Daily production of 81-82,000WCG PPD
    So 330w for 81,000+ PPD..Match those numbers?

I don't think it can be matched but I'm also betting that someone will do so.
That machine is also #5 in daily output projectwide based on the last weeks results on Boinc's stats page

i bet that pcp&c psu isn't very efficient either!
    Main: i7-930 @ 2.8GHz HT on; 1x GIGABYTE GTX 660 Ti OC 100% GPUGrid
    2nd: i7-920 @ 2.66GHz HT off; 1x EVGA GTX 650 Ti SSC 100% GPUGrid
    3rd: i7-3770k @ 3.6GHz HT on, 3 threads GPUGrid CPU; 2x GIGABYTE GTX 660 Ti OC 100% GPUGrid
    Part-time: FX-4100 @ 3.6GHz, 2 threads GPUGrid CPU; 1x EVGA GTX 650 100% GPUGrid

I buy them because I trust them.
