This is good news, BUT I don't know what the max bus speed is on this mobo (I can only get 250mhz stable) and if it won't even approach 285 b/c it we are both mobo limited, x6 will not be a good chip for us and moving to 890fx is more realistic.

I had this board before and I could reach 320 HT stable on my Phenom II x4 920 It's a damn good board, and I would say the best 790FX from the initial wave of 790FX-boards.

Beta Bios 1B1 for MSI K9A2 Platinum (this link does not work in chrome as it removes the username and password)

I modified the bios with SLIC 1.3.1 Tool successfully before flashing it and have a fully activated copy of windows.

Personally I like the Asrock 890GX Extreme3. Its actually a pretty solid board with average OCs on the FSB between 300-320MHz. Bit of a dark horse board for sure.

Thanks for posting this. I asked MSI support and they denied that such a bios exists and refused to give me the link.
