So it seems Kane the father has filed for divorce from the step mom and filed a restraining order. He also appeared earlier with the biological mom in which they stated they support the police investigation. There are rumors about concerns over the step moms cell phone tracking locations.

The search was called off because of the time that has elapsed. They have already searched the immediate area and have no leads to go off of, except the step moms cell phone records which it is assumed shows she was not where she claimed to be.

I myself was one of the searchers here in NC when Brittany Locklear went missing. Although I didnt find the body, I did see it. Its a shame the real monsters in this world look just like everyone else.

Newest update the Father has asked the Step Mother to leave the home. He now believes she was involved in some kind of way. I just hope these people receive some closure soon. Its the wondering and the guessing, and no parent wants to just give up hope.

Actually he filed a restraining order and for divorce.

Come to find out she was trying to put a hit out on him.

As far as the safety of the boy? We do hear of stories decades later where the child ended up being abducted or something. While not a good situation, I hope he is still alive.

Yeah, uh... there's no knowledge of his safety yet.

He is still missing, but the father has indicated that "briefs" suggest a 3rd party was involved in the abduction.

Considering everything we know, I do not think it is unreasonable to assume the step mother would have a connection to that 3rd party.

Well from what i have been reading, i am all for that witch hunt. What sort of mother would start sending naked pics via text messages to another man when their son is missing ????
This women needs to go to jail. I fear that it is too late for this young boy. The worst part is the women will plead some BS post natal depression crap made her to do something.
