Oky guys weve had a couple of complaints Seems Customs are taking the micky on some parcel delivery of Dyes to the USA.

Were going to change the way were sending out them and see if we can get some better customs paper work to solve this issue.

Allso Candy Red !!! Ah ha found the problem.

I took 1 Ltr of candy red and placed it Onto the window shelf in direct sun light for 4 weeks and blow me it has been fading. Very quickly.
So we've now set up the same for all of the different colours and were gonna go through every thing and see wich ones this effects.

So that one test we didn't even think off and seemingly its a vital one.

So as of today candy red is getting pulled.

Wow, I'm surprised you've never tested for UV light . I love the colors, but it would be a shame if some get destroyed under a UV light, which a lot of people here seem to have in their case, even without UV reactive liquid.

I think the problems lies with some non-UV dyes. I'm pretty sure all the UV dyes have been tested rigorously with UV light .

Yes with UVA (UV CCFL) but not with UVB and UVC (sunlight).

Yup sun light has not been tested in the past but now is . cold cathode has been toughly tested. and its only effecting the none UV colours.

Some thing that didn't even think tbh esp since the dyes are supposed to stand up to all lighting cons which overly they haven't ...

just another test ill have to add the rest that i already do ... life eh

Well my red faded, but not due to sunlight. 3 tings come to mind. Something left over from the swiftech mix. But have cleaned it many many times. It reacts to the nickel on the EK blocks. Or it reacts to the tygon tubes.
My next test will bee with blue inn the other loop as well. The blue is still going strong. Don't think it has fades to much yet.

I'm surprised any amount of sunlight has reached my reservoir (i use opaque tubing and the PC is closed).. Maybe even a tiny amount is enough for it to fade over weeks ?

Aqua Tuning now have stock allso im in talks with a OEM distributor to use in there products the dyes and liquids and all so with a few other companys . (news will follow)

A new UV red will be released soon that's just come out of test and has passed all tests inc the wicked new multi Spectrum light test (new equipment i have that cost a small fortune )

    Shops now re open.

Candy red ... this is a wired one. I dont know what it is But doesn't fade under Sun light it fades depending on chemicals used in a system. Ive been running tests over the weeks with different fluids and in our own pre mix it holds up, But with our Biocide (2 drops to 1 Ltr) it fades. So it seems a bit wired.

Ill have to re order alot of product and bottles and some compnays have wiped some stock out but ill get that sorted with in the next few days.

KW Yeh mate thats the colours i can make orange its a sweet colour. Ive got a Real UV orange but cannot relese it as it stains like mad...

Hey, I'll give you a shot of my tubes and gpu block. Cleaning the system now. Looks like mutch of the dye gets stuck inn my rads. The red loop rad is washed and flushed 30 times or so. Still a hint of red.
The blue is flushed washed 10-15 times. Still blue. And blue loops only res, pump, cpu, rad. Nothing in the enzotech block. Tubes rad res abit blue..

Good to hear you're shop's up and running again

I have read this entire thread, all 30 pages start to finish, and I have to say you are onto something Mick! It seems you are a great guy and I hope you are very successful with your dyes; I can't imagine how tough running a business would be but I hope you enjoy what you're doing and keep doing it.

Oky i have a limited supply of this but i have created a 1 drop to 1 ltr of liquid UV clear Blue.

after 2 testers with UV lights and Good water cooling systems.

Youll both get 5mls of the liquid that's enough to do over 50+ Ltrs of liquid. im calling it a liquid but to be honest atm its more of a foam and its not a dye.

All you have to do is post you reports with pics on here.

Previous testers welcome whom have posted.

as for the dye colouring you system yes this will happen as this is strong stuff. As said all so its a must that repeated cleaning is necessary over a period of time.

I think i did 2 block switches in that time and a full flush about 2 weeks ago.

what is there to stain? lol..

it disolves clear, and if it did stain, it would probably be a clear UV stain.
