So far all I've noticed with the 6/01 BIOS is that AGESA was updated from 3.7.0.0 to 3.7.0.1 and that the G.P.U. power phase switching is disabled and greyed out. I was already disabling G.P.U. with the previous BIOS anyway so this bug(?) doesn't hurt me.

Is there way to make high RCLK stable on this board? I had the BIOS reset to default settings at 265 MHz. Similar reset happened to my TA790GXE 128M board when I hit 300 MHz on RCLK.

I don't know. I booted my 1090T at 265 MHz * 13 and with all other multipliers dropped just to see and it was unstable. Well, I couldn't get into the BIOS anymore but Windows 7 booted up and I was able to run Prime 95 - Blend for 30 minutes before I stopped it. I had to reset the CMOS due to that, it seemed like during the boot process keyboard commands weren't being read (I couldn't disable/enable NumLock for instance). Just another reason why I prefer unlocked processors.

Yeah same here I been using unlock since Socket A Athlon XP Mobile 2500 with pin mod on the Biostar M7NCD. 1055T is first AMD CPU I use that is multiplier lock.

I found similar a bug that you set the 1.475 vcore would cause a huge drop in performance.

I'm using 601. This is similiar to TA790GXE 128M beta BIOS.

I manage to pass 265 MHz by cold booting it. I did it all the way to 280. lol Cold boot on every BIOS change.

Must await the final bios, this is still beta. Biostar hopefully not miss the performance of the ram.

I got 4 GHz but unstable because of RAM timings. lol I can't get into the BIOS to mess with the timings. It's stable enough to do couple of benchmarks and browsing.

Somehow it like a hit and miss. Feels like CPU Configuration is set to auto but you can't access it on the BIOS like on TA790GXE 128M. Every time I see the C6 error at 286 MHz RCLK I hit the reset until you see bunch of numbers like 37 and the post screen to the OS. It seems stable on prime95 cpu test for 25 mins. I didn't do blend because the ram isn't stable and it was tested before. Sometimes I hit more 3 times to boot the OS.

I got the Super Talent DDR3-2200 CL8 but single stick. Since the sale was cheaper than dual channel kits and I enough for one.

    This double post for bump.
I'm got 5-5-5-15-26-1T stable at 1386. I increase voltage a lot on the NB mainboard and it's highlighted yellow. I don't know if it's safe vcore for 890FX chipset. 1.29 from stock to get the ram timings stable.

Any joy with high ram clocks on a thuban from anyone yet? My max bootable is around 1700 with tight timings. Needs some tweaking. New OC bios is great apart from the ram issues Software issues tho...

1600 is flawless going to have to play for a day with 32m and see if I cant get em faster and tighter. 15 11 no problems so far

Until you raise the temperature to 70 ° going well. Try different settings for which you paid to buy better

    As this cooled your 1055T?

Biostar I think that is costing a little more of what we are used to make our work better ram. Or am I the only one who is giving you this feeling?

These are pleasing results. As cool the 1090T?

Yeah I'm on a single stage right now reading -14C on the IHS under full load and -34C idle. Only had the chip for a day and I'm still getting to know her

I'm actually doing a review right now so I shouldn't spoil to much

Against more information on these motherboards better

This very positive results with SS. Knowing more about this chip will have better numbers safe. I look forward to.
So I have a reference to find out how much you could get with my water system. I hope to reach 4400mhz

The ram you have is also is Super Talent?

I will probably do some air testing when it's a bit colder. 30C ambient room temperature yesterday

The ram is corsair dominator gt 2000cl8

You will piss all over 4.4, probably validate around 4.8ish on good water with this board

Very good ram, I would have liked to buy some of these, but I have to make do with my Mushkin 6-8-6-24. I hope this ram does not limit me.

I have a good quality water but with my 1055T and the ram that I have I'm more limited.

In a couple of weeks I'll post my numbers.

Yeah... The 1055t is a very awkward chip with these biostar boards. Give me a shout if you get stuck

    Ram will be perfect.

hey guys i just got this board for my 1055t and i'm having a hell of a time trying to get to 4.0ghz. my settings as of now are the following:

    FSB/Multiplier: 286 * 14
    CPU Speed: 4.0Ghz
    NB Speed: 2002Mhz
    CPU Voltage: 1.525v
    NB Voltage: 1.3v
    RAM Speed: 1525Mhz
    Motherboard: Biostar TA890FXE

but still unstable. what else can i do to get stable at 4.0ghz? Ram i'm using right now is crucial ballistix 1600, but i have a set of g.skills black pi coming in very shortly. any help is appreciated.

can you guys list your voltages such as NB and CPU-NB, CPU. that would help me out.

    thanks

It's on air. I can do 833 MHz 6-6-6-18 but it's going limit the CPU clock. 1055T isn't unlock and even NB FID is lock to 10x.

Over 265 RCLK you will expect C9 error even if you have prime95 stable for 8 hours. I'm guessing this motherboard also has CPU Configuration left on auto and it's not available. Hopefully Biostar would release a BIOS these settings.
