Naw, you want to stay with the ddr2 board for most of the 2d benchs, clock for clock there faster. SPI 32m and maybe pifast are really the only ones that benefit from ddr3.

I have a rev1.1, it hated 240b. I had to use 250a with the gskill pi's to reach 1200. Finally I gave up and went back to the rev1.0.
Mine hates 250A for some weird reason reason ,must be settings im going to try again tomorrow with 250A 200D AND 240B ... if i get somewhere good if not Im it was worth the try and fun ... but for me im not putting no more money into 775 ..and waiting for Intel sandty bridge

UD3P rev 1.0 was great mobo but this one is an improved version just need a mature bios, im talking with giga support givin' them some data, i love it and great as you can be 2000+ 1T DDR3 stable and bench on more, i agree that on DDR2 EP45 UD3P 1.0 rocks so this one on DDR3

asus aint for 775 QUADS just duals, GIGA = QUAD heaven

    Cheers

I said 2D benchs, not 3D benchs. As you know I have both boards and the only 2D bench that really benefits from the ddr3 is SPI 32m.

Been a way from my 775 rig a little too long. The PSU went and I sold my RAM aswell for needed cash at the time.

Got 2300mhz cas 8 ram on the way and a corsair 850HX, will all be here early next week, that and 4c mornings here, I can't wait to get back to pushing the X3360.

Also some nice results going on here. Giving me alot to read through :p
