That's the corporate part of the overclocking game.
But isn't this what we, as overclocker, want? For instance, the Clarkdale coldbug modification was found by Shamino, but not shared (guessing here ...) because other manufacturers would just copy it. But ... there was only one way to modify it. Does this mean that in a country where no Evga is sold, you cannot have coldbugfree Clarkdale? No, you should be able to buy another board, do the same type of mod and have nice clocks.
We must remember that this situation must be very difficult for the overclockers within companies who like to share information. On the one hand they want to do a favour to the community, but on the other hand they don't want other vendors just to copy everything ...![]()
