just passed 24 hours of small FFTs w/ 0 issues. The last board must have been a defect. Wish i got a pic of the pwm area but it seriously looked like solder got splashed on and it bridged 2 of the fets.

this buid was for pure simplicity and ease of use as it is going to a customer and if the bios were to reset, the pc would be a piece of cake to restore the proper settings... as you are prompted in post that something happened i.e. cmos reset or failed oc, you can hotkey in a profile and boot from it

    settings:

3359Mhz - flipped the 2 dip switches on the motherboard
    DRAM - 8-8-8-24 @ 1.65v 1600
    everything else AUTO

pwm heatsink got to 70c - measured w/ VA8090 (thanks ryan!)

    case: Lian Li - PC-A05nb
case fans: 2x Thermalright TR-FDB 12-1600 63.7cfm *advertised cfm, no way to check actual*
Lian Li - BS-08B pci cooler w/ stock fans
cpu cooling: CoolIt ECO ALC - attached w/ 1 of the thermalright fans, sucks air in from back of case

    CPU - AMD 1055t Phenom II X6 2.8GHz @ 3.359Ghz
    Motherboard - MSI 890GXM-G65
    HD: Hitachi Deskstar 1TB 7200rpm
RAM: OCZ AMD Black Edition 1600 8-8-8-24 1.65v
GPU - MSI 5770 Hawk - 950 core 1300 mem 1.2v (no voltage adjustment was required for this oc)
    PSU - OCZ ModXstream 600w
    Small FFTs 24hrs
