I will try Phenom II X6 with 790FX chipset .

Currently , I just make sure Phenom II X6 with only ASUS 890FX Motherboard can run DDR3-2000 , and more DDR3-2060 passed .

    To testing DDR3-2060 CL7 @ dual channel 4x2GB
Hyper PI setting caculation 32M , running 12 Cores .

    LOOP 9

    LOOP 23

    2 Cores finished

    Finally , 12 Cores finished

Because I tried to using Phenom II X4 run peak DDR3-1900MHz @ ASUS CH4F , AMD improve the IMC of Phenom II X6 CPU
Recommand using AMD Phenom II X6 CPU to runnig over DDR3-2000MHz .

All this is great but how's prime 95 blend.

Seems to me all that memory speed gets wasted on an IMC that still has a limitation in prime 95

    I tried my AMD Phenom II x6 1055T with ASUS M4A79T- Deluxe , my best runnig DDR3-1800 CL8 1T ,

    Hyper PI LOOP 18

    Hyper PI Finish

It seems that running DDR3-2000 @ AMD BEST Match are Phenom II x6 with 800 series chipset .

You should fix that to it seems that benching @ 2000 is best on 800 chipset.

Unless of course you can run say prime 95 blend at 2000 ram at normal average user clock speeds.

Could you give us information about operation of the ram with just two sticks instead of four? A comparative power to see that you can take with other clubs such as the one just put up our friend here.

my x4 955 had problems running anything above 1500 in the first two memory slots, I guess the x6's can handle it better with the improved IMC? (also yay firstpost).

yeah I've been using the two farthest slots for a while, it just makes no sense that every guide I've read suggests the two closest to the CPU are the best

may have to pickup a kit of this memory when my x6 1055 gets here and see if I can get 1700 6-6-6-16-1t or something out of it on the m4a79t

That won't happen without Hyper chips.

Look up the ram in my sig and buy some. (In the US it's ~$200...) Guaranteed 1750 6-6-6-18. Hyper is EOL so buy fast.

    Prime 95 blend

I appreciate the effort but how about say 1 hour min on that IMC.

1 hour is not so fad considering the 30 min 32m tests that i know must have been boring to watch.

Hello, it's not the subject of this topic but what do you do to have multiplier 16X on the 1055T, I can not have more than 14 on my 1055T?

ASUS Crosshair IV Formula allows to lock turbo multipliers on all cores so you can choose up to 16

I have a Crosshair IV formula too (with bios 801) and I can't arrive to have multiplier 15 or 16 (in the bios I can choose it but on cpu-Z (windows7-64bits) I only see multiplier 14.
What is the procedure to have multiplier 15 or 16 with the 1055T? it's in the bios? in TurboV evo? with other application?
To don't disturb the aim of this tread you can answer me in Private message.
    Thanks
