    Moffset cooling

    Hi guys,

I have the Gigabyte X58A-UD5 and bought the EK water blocks for it. However the two moffset blocks don't fit the X58A version.

Do you think I could cut the stock cooling pipes just before the moffets heat sinks and leave them cooling the moffsets as they are, and then have the main EK waterblock cooling the NB, SB and SATA controller?

Would the two moffset heat sinks on their own provide sufficient cooling?

    Cheers
