... The Motherbaord Temp of 89C is puzzling. Can you run http://cpuid.com/hwmonitor.php and post a screen shot of HW Monitor? I suspect the 89C is the PWM temp which looks pretty high for Default settings.

I'm running BOINC with the sixcore and two ATI 5850, the ATIs are around 70ºC.

The case is well ventilated. It is a Dragon Lord 58, with a 14cm fan getting air, and two 12cm fans pulling air up. The processor is ventilated with an Corsair H50.
