Rip got to remember that the front element on the Lumix is very small and hard to get even a naked finger in there
ok its not THAT small, but its small and hard to clean.

take a q-tip and wrap the microfiber cloth over the tip and then use that to clean the front of the lens.

i cant say with certainty why this catches my eye but it does.
i used the '300' custom style.

    Canon T2i
    Nikon 35mm F/2 @ F/2 i think
    ISO-100
    1/1600th
    '300' Canon Custom Style
shot in jpeg, straight from the camera and re-sized.

Through a roundabout story, I got hooked up with a professional photographer who normally specializes in drag racing and for the most part I've worked taking pictures at Speedworld in Surprise (AZ) for some of the events they've held, see below. I've also had the opportunity to work with him and Lucas Oil at the Lucas Oil Spring National Drag Boat races and will be going on the road to the Little Caesars Ozark Nationals in Oklahoma City to shoot there as well. (Media access is awesome.) I wouldn't call myself an artistic photographer, more closer to a decent picture taker.

This is a nostalgia top fuel dragster "chute photo" at the top end of the track taken with my Canon 20D, 70-300mm IS, 1000/sec, f6.3 (IIRC) on motor drive and AI servo. It's not a perfect picture; but, I was asking a lot from my camera and lens all things considered, mostly lens...

Thanks for the heads up. I should have read that 1st page. Didn't mean to violate the rules. Now I know. Unfortunately I don't have an expensive DSLR camera so I can't post exposure, aperture, ISO setting, etc. I just point and shoot with the camera on "Auto". Hope that's ok. Thanks again.

Thanks for the compliment. Unfortunately I don't have much of a camera compared to so many of you. It's a Sony DSC-H50, about 2 years old. Basically a high end Point n' Shoot. I generally just set it for "Auto" and push the button. So to answer your question, the lens I used is the lens that's built into it.
