    Edit: i make note of your oppinion, but at $1700, and with the level of components, i would cut back on other things to ensure a $100-200 SSD, only yielding to other oppinions for if the machine is intended for special case usage.
    IMO you can't call a $1500 rigg "performance midrange" if you don't have an SSD in it. PCmark Vantage agrees with me :P
