    nVIDIA Inspector Tool v1.7

Orbmu2k has released his new tool for nVIDIA cards. It's basically an nVIDIA only GPU-Z like utility but with a quite extensive overclocking feature set.

Wow this looks great, I may have to switch EVGA Precision in favor for this.

EDIT: It's also one no installer, just an exe file so that's always a bonus to me.

Is Coolbits dead? I like the looks of this, it's clean and tidy with enough functionality for most.

It works on my 311. I like it way better than Nvidia system tools.

Awesome, now i can up the volts on my Palit brand 470 Finally hit GTX 480 clocks.

They just need a way to load settings on startup, like with that EVGA tool. Also a tray icon.

You need full feature drivers from nvidia, in your case the verde notebook drivers.

OEM drivers or Microsoft Update drivers are not suppoted.

Nice looking software, I wonder if it crashes Windows as often as GPU-Z does.

Anyone know how to increase the voltage on the 400 series beyond the capped 1.125 in programs? I appear to have gotten a dud in comparison to some people achieving 850ish on stock volts.

How is GPU-Z crashing your Windows ? Its one of the most used programs out there, you must really have bloated OS...

I've never seen GPU-Z crash, you must have a borked OS.

Not really. I've a GTX260 (192 SP's) with Microsoft Update drivers (Win 7 x64 Ult.), and it works fine, but the voltage control does not work... the voltage is there and all of that, but cannot be used...

Any problem with voltage adjustement with GTX260 on the program Orbmu2k?
    Btw, Great overcloking tool

Ok good to know that it works for you, but not suppoted anyway.

No problem with voltage control on GT200, just not supported by the nvidia driver. Its for fermi cards only.

ahhh ok. thanks for your prompt reply. So it's fermi only, good to know =)

Yeah it's working fine with microsoft update drivers. I tested it this night at home, by overcloking the card to 650 / 1100 / 1350 (core/mem/shaders) then fan @ 100% and let furmark 1.8.2 on stability test all night long running.

Later on when i'm back @ home i'll post some pics of it working =)

From NVIDIA itself, dunno what system you have, so here for Vista/Win7 32Bit..
    http://www.nvidia.com/object/noteboo...7.16_whql.html

Other drivers sometimes not contain the needed interfaces. ;-)

Don't compare this tool with GPU-Z or Afterburner, its for NVIDIA cards only, its based 100% on NVIDIA drivers and nothing more. So it will contain all limitations by the drivers, and will not add extra stuff like the other tools does.

And finally, no iam not working for NVIDIA.
