I had to down-size the garden a bit to up-size the main rig. now to begin the slow process of replanting cpu's. I also have other less photogenic rigs scattered around...

Looks like a dozen PC's. They're good for 13-14,000 BOINC PPD (if you assume that they're in-use 8 hours each day).

WOW. Call it 1675 ppd with 100% use and 32-bit OS. Perhaps set it so it only crunches when the computer's not in use (with a 1-3 minute delay)?

Dude... Nice. Where are you at school?

I'm working with both the University of Texas and my former High School district trying to get them to run it and got caught in all this Bureaucracy.

Maybe it'd be better to try each department instead of the University...? Huh... worth asking... Brb.

24 hour prime stable? Please, I'm 24/7/365 WCG stable!

My desk is an old dining table table I picked up at a second hand dealer for about $5 ... but then all my computers are built from primarily donated and salvaged parts, too. I wouldn't have spent $1000 on the random parts that I needed to complete three systems.

My PC was actually over $1000 all said and done, at least over its life.

    Orig (late 2007):
    E2140 @ 3.2
    Abit IP35-E
    Scythe Mugen with stock fan
    XClio 188AF
    320GB hard drive
    1x2GB RAM
    Radeon HD 3850

    Upgrade 1 (early 2008):
    2x2GB RAM
    Added 2 exhaust fans

    Upgrade 2 (late 2008):
    Corsair 750TX PSU
    1TB hard drive

    Upgrade 3 (mid 2009):
    320GB hard drive
    2x1GB RAM

    Upgrade 4 (late 2009):
    Pentium E6300 @ 4.0

    Planned downgrade 5 (mid 2010):
Break-down for parts and to become a dedicated cruncher and backup rig.
Remove the 2x2GB kit, all but orig hard drive (or swap to an 80GB IDE drive), & swap out the PSU's. Perhaps put the original chip back in here if I can overclock the Wolfdale in a cheap mobo and downgrade back to Windows Vista x64. Then, (re)build the AM2+ rig with an Athlon II X4, 4GB RAM, the hard drives, & call it a day.

    No

However I was pretty impressed with how they dealt with the heat pumping out of a 920 so I bought another 3

How are those H50's staying on the books? They look like they would fall off.

    LOL

They are very sturdily resting on the hardback cover edges and held in place by the tension in their fairly rigid hoses
