Hard to tell what time is from this forum. May 1st is another 2 hours here. When is May 1st, GMT? UTD?
Got my new 1090T running 100% and is only 51C with stock cooler on a warm muggy S. Texas night. Will have another 4 cores running later.

The World Community Grid uses UTC (Universal Time Coordinated), also known as Coordinated Universal Time. It's similar to GMT, only UTC is based on atomic time.

The answer to what time it is, is that IT'S TIME!
Like the man said, fire 'em up and warm up the house.
They don't do anything sitting there taking up floor space!

Make sure you've allowed BOINC access through your Windows firewall as well as having the right proxy settings.

    Almost missed out!

Only been with the team for a week (thanks Rise!) and had my PC running 24/7 since joining.

PC crashed yesterday and when I rebooted my wireless card simply refused to connect to my router.

Took me the whole day (Saturday here in NZ ) but finally fixed it!
So I can contribute my Beast of a PC to the cause!

Oh yeah, that beast is an E5200 @ 3.2 Ghz

I'm ... a tad south of the Gold Coast. About 2 hours north of Canberra, as it happens. Not many services here, but not many politicians, either.

I'm now posting in multiple threads in an attempt to get up to speed on this WCG thing

Is it normal for CPU usage to oscilate between nothing and 100% every 1 sec? :/
