With the 1090t, you can reach 4.4 GHZ on AIR with STOCK COOLER... with 1055t...you'll barely be able to reach 4ghz...
With water and a 1090T, you probably can reach 5ghz and more.
Cool yeah I gotta see if they updated my bois for my mono

Massman have a nice article at HWBot research about it
My 1055T (sold) and 1090T , with air-cooling have similar "ceiling" as the research mentioned
richierich: its end your prime?Im curious :-).

that chart, and the one on the next page are just incredibly informative. i only wish they had more common temperatures with 1.3v+ in .5 increments up to 1.6v. but looking at that 1.5v line, its clear that 4ghz is guaranteed with good air cooling, and to get 5ghz, u just need a decent phase cooler.
Got mine 1055T (1013CPMW) today and found out that the stock vcore is 1,475vI hope thats wrong and will be changed with a biosupdate.
I´m using a Gigabyte MA790XUD3P with F7a bios which was realesased yesterday.
What stock vcore did you guys have?
Thats totally untrue, on average they will have similar wall, its more probable that with 1090T you will get better one (binning), however amd process seems to be very mature so there isnt huge discrepances between them. With the 1090t, you can reach 4.4 GHZ on AIR with STOCK COOLER... with 1055t...you'll barely be able to reach 4ghz...
With water and a 1090T, you probably can reach 5ghz and more.
That said, 1090T is more tweakable and is easier to oc.
@richierich, PLease report back with your PRIME 95 results ? I want to see AT MINIMUM 1 hour PRIME95 stable results, please !
All those with MSI 790FX-GD70, can you PLEASE report if the new 1.A bios is able to disable the Turbo boost ???? PLEASE !

Ok I'll try to run some prime95....so far I was 3-hour stable @ 4.08GHz w/ 1.45v....too high of a vcore so I'm trying to go lower.
Mine just arrived. Woot but I cant install it yet as I have to make a trip to my college but I will leave the info on the cpu here so you can tell me what it means for future reference.
