Where are these for sale? Once the old house sell's mom says we can spend some money on a dedicated cruncher and I'm working on her to get one of these SR-2 rigs going

I would like to start being able to quote her prices see how she takes it. What sucks though is even if the house gets an offer tomorrow we wont have the cash in time for the super computer week

Yeah I know the SR-2 isn't out yet, but what about the cpu's? Any e-tailors carrying those yet? Also if you wouldn't mind linking me to info on OC'ing these bad boys that would be great. Got to start reading up now even if I can't afford it for 3-6 months

Unfortunately no real guides or info on overclocking these boards yet. I know there is a handful of us that plan on purchasing these boards as soon as they are released, so its a patience game. I'm sure once we get them we will be showing off our e-peen. Some of the X56XX series chips are on sale at provantage. If you plan on getting this board down the road, I have no issues trying to help you out over the phone figuring it out.

and damm i was planning some stuff to have around 20k boinc ppd. Look like i have to raise my expectation and get a couple other planned rig.

Hmm new list of planned rig:
i7 860 4.2ghz watercooled ( gaming rig)
my current i5 750 4.1ghz in a new home cruncher 1
A i3 530 at around 4.4ghz planned cruncher 2
4p opteron 8356 2.3ghz planned cruncher 3
4p opteron 6128 2.0ghz planned cruncher 4

around 24k boinc ppd, bloody hell you guys are crazy, cant you let the new guys have a chance at getting pie ????

and still that might not be enough. Might have to go copy MM rig.
