I had a Spyder2Pro in the past but it had a red shift in the white balance precision. The Spyder3 is supposed to be a lot better, but their meters are known to be less accurate than others. I now have an X-Rite Eye-One Display LT that is spot on. The LT's luminance measurements are also good down to around 0.004ftL, which is even better than it's more expensive brother. I've calibrated not only my monitors with the LT but my TC-P58S1 plasma as well. Why pay for a pro calibration when you can get great results with your own meter and learn along the way.![]()
