    I'm using a G.Skill Falcon 128gb too, and although its not been running a year I'm not having any issues.

    Ashraf as soon as you do get a problem though let me know and I'll switch mine.

    Your SSD will be miners canary.

    well i took the plunge and put it on my kingston 40gb ssd (flash with intel TRIM firmware) and it's happily crunching right now, although i set it to write to disk every 30 minutes. i got it for relatively cheap, so it's a good guinea pig crunching ssd. if there's ever a problem with the drive, i'll be sure to post back here.

    This is what I have (except I have the official X25-V), I don't have the funds to replace it if it breaks, so I'm just going to keep BOINC on the Caviar....Chicken Patty over @ TPU said that he noticed no impact on crunching with a SSD or not, so I'm playing it safe
