I too, am interested on the new naming. Maybe a HK Supreme HF CU+ or something to denote the new revision?

    And no thermal performance difference.
Are you actually making a new revision eddy? I e-mailed the EK website directly last night and got an e-mail back from Gregor saying no new revisions will be made

Should i wait for the review of koolance cpu block ? or EK block is already better?

what is the thermal difference when using 1 45 on the block compared to none ?

I am sure there is no difference if you use one 45° fitting.

New revision of full copper block will not be before May.

Thanks Eddy, I got blocks, so waiting is NP. That's customer service. [Of course he dont has to do this.]

Going for my own plating, should be sweet. Reconsidering Gold, double dip on the top.

I'd get the HF. If you get a 45, go for the single piece BP fitting, less likely to loosen and weep

Eddy i want to ditch Bitspower bars, it doesn't match well with EK blocks and is starting to look ugly and out of place, any chance of us seeing smaller compression fits like 3/8ID 1/2OD, along with high quality plugs and rotaries?

Shocking, I'm in the market for some Festool stuff. Know what you mean, the best power tools for what I do though.

Does the Copper Top EK Supreme HF have any thermal advantage over the acetal top version?

So what is the real difference between CU and the regular HF besides their appearance?

None. Although nobody has tested them against each other that I know of.

Ah speaking of gold, I'm planning on getting the EK Supreme HF Gold Edition. Does it come pre-installed with the P1 plate?
If not how would I go about replacing the stock plate with the p1? Would it void the warranty?

Just a note, the "gold edition" is plated by PPCs, not EK.
Signatures make my posts look huge... but I'm not humble enough to completely remove my signature, so I kept this note explaining it.

How far do you guys tighten your thumbscrews? It's difficult to determine how equal I tightened each one so I continued tightening until I could no longer turn them without excessive force.

    Eddy
Just to clarify, are you saying that a new revision of the EK Supreme HF will be coming out in May? One that will allow for 1/2" bitspower fittings?

I'm gonna be upgrading to watercooling very soon and was thinking of getting the Gold version of the EK Supreme HF. However, I'll be using 1/2" fittings meaning I can't put one side by side. So I'll have to go with two 45 degree fittings. I don't really like the look though so was wondering how long I'd have to wait for the new ones to come out.

One more thing xD just a noobie question. Which is the IN and which is the OUT? Is the IN the one that is closer to the middle? probably...

I love it anyway (Supreme HF CU nickelplated), even though the top should be polished ( Eddy):
This is the way its supposed to be installed right? I noticed some people have it upside down...?

My understanding is that as long as it isn't sideways its fine?

    measures

I'm suggesting that your Supreme HF doesn't have channels that are as deep as mine--a manufacturing variance (or flaw, depends on what spec is). Mine are 1.9-2.0mm deep, it's not very easy to measure with a lot of precision considering how narrow the channel is and considering the bottom surface of the channel is not flat. Slightly shallower channels would explain all our discrepancies in performance.

And as a matter of fact, I do know that the restriction of my two flowmeters + three 'off' pumps is higher than the restriction of a PA120.2 + a moderate amount of tubing (at least at all flowrates above .25GPM...below that I don't have any viable data). I also know, because I've measured it, that when flowrate through the block subloop (Subloop1) is anywhere between .3GPM and 4.1GPM that the flowrate through the radiators is maintained at 1.5GPM within 1% (measurement limitation)

Allow me to correct you about the microchannels:

    Deep: 2.25mm and width: 0.28mm

Vapor did say that microchannel depth might vary with the Supreme HF, so both of your measurements might be correct for the block you actually have.
