I orginally put this in the WCG section for a couple reasons.
Jon mainly as it is to do work so that we can cut the time so people don't get the death sentence he did.
Jon Magoon to most here is just a name..Loonym..
To me he's more than that. Met him twice, spent those two days getting to know him and Annabelle his daughter.
Trust me, it changes your outlook.
Humanizes the battle we are in.

I'm sure that's for a good cause, and there is no doubt you are doing a good job for World Community Grid (WCG).
I didn't mind posting in that forum either, I'm just happy to be able to follow my favorite MB in my favorite forum![]()

This is turning out to be an excellent machine.
Stable, solid and computational power that you wouldn't beleive.
Who ever thought we'd see a air cooled dualie that would run in the 8's in SP1m
The best way I can describe the computational power is that it's like
seven Q6600's @3600mhz..
Running in the high 50's at 4152mhz in a 72F room.

Wow that rig really is extreme. It's great to see you putting it to good use too Movieman, it's good to bring a human side to this microcosm of hedonistic hardware excess we all indulge ourselves in.
I just read this from start to finish..im in awe..The sheer power of it..The emotion behind the build..The dedication to your friend..i applaud you Movie Man

What's the specs of the system again? (Taking too long to find a summary of it on this thread).
What's your LINPACK or LINPACK HPL score?
flow man:
du/dt + u dot del u = - del P / rho + v vector_Laplacian u
{\partial\mathbf{u}\over\partial t}+\mathbf{u}\cdot\nabla\mathbf{u} = -{\nabla P\over\rho} + \nu\nabla^2\mathbf{u}

I'm going to wager a guess and say beginning to mid May...but I'm hoping for tomorrow![]()
Maybe I missed it on their web site, but as far as I can tell, evga doesn't seem to publish detailed owner's manuals or even detailed specs for their motherboards--just short "installation" guides. Very odd.
@Movieman: any idea if the current board supports 4GB ECC RAM modules? Between an uncertain release date and possible as-yet-unknown firmware problems, I'm tempted to go with a Supermicro board instead, even though it would mean giving up overclocking. Are there any compelling features that would make it worth the wait / risk?
