    Cat 10.5's

    Leaked very early

Newest 2d and 3d drivers by a country mile to every previous catalyst driver and they appear to be the first build of the catalyst 10.5 drivers (yes, 10.5, not 10.4)

    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=WH2U3WZG

Download is 380mb as its all version in a .rar file

Early reports say they solve the xfire flicker in BFBC2

To compare driver version with the opengl 4.0 (29th march beta)

Opengl is NEWER on the 4.0 drivers - 6.14.10.9392 (new) vs 6.14.10.9826

    but

2D and 3D are newer on these by a large gap (15 builds or so lol)

    8.14.10.0735 (ogl 4) vs 8.14.10.0750 (new) for 3D
    8.01.01.1010 (ogl 4) vs 8.01.01.1024 (new) for 2D

    So, any performance improvements?

OK so I tried these but still had the flicker with my 4870X2 so I went back to 10.3 with no profiles and I have no flicker and smooth frames.
This might help some people but it made mine much worse.

Agree. The monitor flicker with 4 monitors is gone now too. BFBC2 also is working properly again (no flicker).

CCC is reading 10.3 still, but the driver version is updated and working much better. My OC was a little unstable with this driver though, had to go from 1066MHz GPU (which was previously stable on BFBC2 and furmark burn) down to 1050MHz GPU on my 5870. Not a noticeable difference though and worth the downclock since the damn flicker is finally solved.

sounds like you didn't remove the drivers before installing these. Remove all CCC and drivers etc beforehand. even driversweep then install these.

Crashes galore in bc2, flickering screen still there. Going back to 10.3 whatever. I can put up with flickering screen but the crashes were getting on my t**s.

You know AMD/ATI specifically states you don't have to do all that crap, just install without all the uninstall/driversweep crap.

That might be true for WHQL drivers, and it usually is, but for these beta drivers it is actually quite smart to use uninstall and driversweeper.
