I see replacement parts for the Classified block on the official website, but no acrylic version, it would be a good idea to manufacture acrylic tops only so we may purchase it as an optional part if EK doesn't want to take the risk, cause truthfully i do prefer the acrylic and i see myself sticking with this board for a very longtime.

I'm benching on mine right now, under LinX load system reads 30-31c and VREGs read 43-44c. E760 on a dedicated loop with EK full cover nickel block GTX 280 rad with med speed yates loons push/pull and a ddc with xspc res top.
Under load, testing for 4.4GHz stability:

    LinX fail:

No change in the system temps, but VREGs are lower at idle

So glad I found a second hand plexi model. Cracking issues be damned!
Thought that White top on the EK website could look awesome as well.
Eddy, you need to start making more things in white acetal and plexi. If I see another classified with a black and red themed case I'm going to scream.

After screwing around with my new WC loops i've dropped the OC back down to my 24/7 4.2GHz. My spread there is 39c VREGs and 31c system.

Question for you; how did you get a 21c system temp? I thought my GTX280 dedicated loop with push/pull fans would give me some of the lower chipset temps

System != chipset temp... it's air temps near mobo (case temp). If I am not mistaken, you can see NB temps using everest with the last bioses.

I have the VREG running at 45-47C, with one loop consisting of 2 GTX285, 1 975EX, 1 X58 Classified, and low rpm fans on 2 radiators. The NB temp is good too, i dont remember it exactly (not at home here). That's when overclocked (VTT +200mV, Vcore 1.26).

Well since the board is itself red & black it makes sense to have a red & black theme around it...

SAE i could of sworn those temps are the ones reported in bios.

My board loop is just Overkill.. my entire computer in fact is overkill.

Im looking at the spreads because i wanted to see how small of a delta u guys had having 1 large block instead of 2.

    How can you tell?

No, honestly, the super i/o had both nb and cpu hs temp on same line so that we could not get both temps displayed in windows at the same time. I.e. just the cpu hs temp was reported by eleet and nb temp in everest was cpu hs as well. Later Shamino and his team changed that to show the right nb temp. I dunno what exact bios that was... nevertheless it should show correctly with latest bios revisions. But I doubt it's the temp labeled as system (pls feel free to correct me).

/edit. Maybe you can check against everests nb temp under load.

i could never get everst to play right on vista... so i retired it on 7...

    Hwmonitor vs eleet.

oh im not on the EK... i wanted to see the spread on the EK because i need to help a friend build his classy, and wanted to see the spread difference against a koolance.

Note im saying spread difference, not overall temps.. :P

Board under load: Thats my kagami Load Meter..
BTW: PWM frequency in bios is @ max.

You can see why now everyone who knows me calls me a scary whore...

    Yes i need a remount on because i think i missed cores 0 3 4..

Gotcha... i'm a big fan of overkill; with my 24/7 OC 100% load my delta is 8c.
