This is odd, might be the first time a card STAYS over MSRP after 6 months on the market... bizzarro world but if the Google prices are correct, then at $450/$500, a 5870 (which seems to beat a 470) at $400 means there's no reason for the price to go down AT ALL!

Then u have the non reference 5 series cards coming out with 2gbs of ram with allegedly crazy oc headroom (MSI Lighting, Asus Matrix). Be funny if those cards retail as much as a reference gtx 480 / 470.
