    Dudes, do I need also latest firmware for my X25-M 80GB Gen2 drives?

    As I have old 2CV102G9 firmwares in.
    And is it safe to update it?
    like this put controller (ICH10R) to IDE mode from raid -> boot from Intel update CD -> flash both drives -> boot -> raid back on -> and windows and everything will still work?
