I didnt find it, it was posted on another forum.

I want this board, but think i'll have to wait a few months to save up for this and the cheaper Hex core I7-970 thats meant to be out soon.

The guy in the video said that the manufacturing will begin on march 25. So I guess this baby will hit the stores around end April to early May...?

Multiple sources from Asus said the board will be avaliable "early April", and the board has already gone to mass production phase. So I'd say he's wrong and his Asus contact just wanted to make him feel "special" with his "001 demo sample".

That guy gets lots of exclusive things from Asus if you check through his other reviews. He also got an Asus 5970 before

But there are only 3 going out to reviewers, someone at OCUK forums is expecting the third one to review. They may already be in production, just with no more than 3 currently going out for reviews.

When will it be able to be purchased? I can wait for early April, say Easter weekend, but I don't want to wait more than that, I want to be building next weekend if at all possible. Anyone got a better idea of the date? Which week in April, or not in April?

Not that I know anything but from what I'm seeing people are saying within the next 2 weeks this beauty should be out... pretty much all we can do is hope.

Boards are entering in mass production now. Actual release date in April is dependent upon BIOS maturity, at least for the America's region.

If they were in my region, maybe a tactical nuke response. Seriously, considering all of the work several members of this site and others have put into assisting us in the tuning of this board for the upcoming release, it was not exactly a smart move to "review" a product that is not finished yet and without showing its full capabilities.

It's gonna be TOUGH to wait. I got some gorgeous monitors that I can't power on due to not having a beefy enough system to power them. My old Radeon 9600XT won't go that high resolution, neither will my Nvidia GeForce GO 7600.
