depends on how much power the cards consume... if its close to their tdps, then its very bad... it would mean that a 470 consumes as much as a gtx295 but performs notably worse.

but farcry2, farcry2, farcry2.... and no aa...
ive said it before, far cry2 is old... and its a game you play once and thats it... it gets repetitive so fast even when you play it the first time...

nothing about crysis? i thought thats where the 480 pulls ahead notably as well?

Yeah, those benches look more in line with what I expect.

But I will be very cross if I can't get a 512sp part after the launch. I've been waiting for this card since last November for God's sake, and I won't settle for the slimmed down version!
