The turbo has been on all the times, otherwise it would use x20 multi. I've just tried turning on/off other CPU-power options, but still can't select x23 in BIOS, no matter what.
Probably the CPU is locked on max x22 multi, but it can be the BIOS, or other problems too. I'm not sure for now, but will try to follow this, because the x23 multi would really be a great option.

Tried F6 final bios and had lock ups and friezes in windows at 4.0Ghz. Have now tried F6x and found it to be better - anybody else found the same?
So far stable in Linx - only ten run need to test more I know, plus prime overnight once I am happy I think it is totally stable.
Think I will try 200x20 with turbo off to reduce temps and v core a bit more as that worked well when I tested at 3.8. Temps for above 4Ghz run were 70 to 76 degrees under water.

Is there an easy way to have the bios ouput to a text file?
Cheers mate! handy link. cant wait to play with my new toy...
I see this boards bios can be updated through windows (also getting UD7 with the CPU on Monday)... i've not had good experience with this. Does it actually update ok with this board, on Win7 x64?
And can the bios be updated with a Flash card while in the bios?

Miah,
Not time for ln2 yet but when there is time, need to test out some ram as myIMC apparently needs some cold.
I'm preety much a nub to intel so be kind.........
Some 3d testing with UD7,920DO, corsair GTX 2, modded to hell 8800GT 512mb, Corsair HX 850W, custom LN2 evap adapted waterblock.
Excuse the disaster area, it's been rather hectic lately.
All in all I'm liking it so far, seems preety stable, no major complaints except with NB heatpipe installed first card is a little hard to get at release tab.
Oh one other thing to note, max blclock about 235 on water, PCI 116 IIRC however not very stable and sluggish boot (IDE) drive so no the drive is not the issue.
234 is flawless with 106 PCI.
Oh question for moopa.........whats up with the voltage on water man? 1.728? vcore bugged? Sorry i'm an intel nub so just curious.
I can't even boot that on ln2 I don't think.........in fact I didn't going back to my previous test on ud3r.

I've got no strings to hold me down.
To make me fret, or make me frown.
I had strings but now I'm free.

Yoh guys,
maybe somebody is able to help me out of my strange problem;
everytime I order my sytem to shut down, the pc shuts down but a few seconds later the system starts just by itself again.
I deactiveted the Realtek PCIe GBE Famely controller "wake on magic pacet, wake on pattern match and wake-on-LAN-shut down". But the problem is still alive.
Does anybody have a solution for this strange behavior?

Have you tired clearing CMOS, and disconecting power for at least 5 mins with the cmos jumper shorted?

Have you disabled all "Power on" Options inside the bios? Just a thought.

I assure that I use 1.728V on water .. I don't boot from bios but I use easytune6 to adjust it on windows. btw, I do use 1.7V for short time, not long time .. just show on CPU-Z only
