sorry guys, but some friend just dropped by right after i was done and left late... so i couldn't run tests, and my pictures smell like sh***
btw please pray for the tests!!! at least let it start

so here's what it looks like, at the end... or close to it!

    > cable management... looks messy, but can't have it any better than that (i know there is an extra USB! that's just in case! it's hard enough to get the cables through, might as well not have to do that again when the desk's fully mounted!)

    > from the "left"

    > from the "right"

(told ya my pictures are poor quality!)

Just an idea, you might run a usb hub/cable up to the desktop, so you can plug in a USB thumbdrive easily. Else, it looks amazing.

thanx for the idea... i had the same!
in the short list of things left to do, i have to install this :

i've already shortened the cables. i will fix it on my side, right in front of the metal framework which supports the desktop! (you'll see!)
when i was looking for some remote controll to get the pc started (before i choose the p55 ftw mobo and it's remote),
i found this little fellow and thought it was pretty handy to have the start button, 2 usb and the head phone/mic on the same hub!

I certainly do house calls, but as my fellow-member, i tend to limit them. i'd rather have you come to my office
and if you want the same desk, you know what and how to do it! i have no patent on it

Amazing build here man! The white sleeving looks amazing, and i am loving my sleeving that i am doing in my project. Did you use something under the sleeving to keep the wire color from showing through? I ended up using 1/8in heatshrink on my wires to keep them pure white.

Where did you pick those fans up?

Looking superb! That new picture actually does it come justice , and the LED strip under the mobo works great, really lichts up the desk nicely .

On a separate note though, i thought you were going to water cool????

I did use something under the sleeving... white electrician tape! much easier than heatshrink... and cheaper too!

thanx, but if you read again my 1st post, i quote: "I do appologize right away for this is not a watercooled computer"
so no it wasn't meant to be watercooled as it will have to be as reliable as possible, and mostly because, when i'll be on vacation, i'll have another doctor working with it and i don't want him/her to do stupid things and so on... aircooling is good enough, especially this mega shadow!
really eagger to start OCing this little i5

sorry bout that mate, i have a bad habit of jumping straight to the pictures without reading . Air cooling is definitely the safe way to go, especially if someone else will be playing with it.

    Have fun overclocking

evga was saing they dont know why it is. but they keep a look and maybe with a new bios they will change it.

    because the dark pictures
try to use a little light in the backround maybe this would help

yeah it seems that my bios is a bit old (A27 )
i'll flash it to A51 (seems to be very stable...)
and then i'll disable the CLOCKGEN option so it won't do that anymore (supposed to)
