Quick question: I just got the OCZ reapers HPC 1066 kit (from RMAing my LV kits), these mothers are friggin high, anyways I cant fit this RAM in my 1st and 3rd slots (yellow) because of my heatsink fan. What are the differences (if any) between the yellow and orange slots?

Andresergio: Congrats on those CRAZY results!

In my quest I collected up a few templates and posted them at http://forums.pureoverclock.com/show...&postcount=171 (because I cant do tables here) take a look see if any work for you

Mine is a x3350 on the 45t board so the multi and ram speed will need looking at differently More recent observations suggest that a 50ps to 100ps cpu skew alone (none on mch) works better

Bios FEa is out for UD3P 1.6.
Changelog appears to show 'fix VRM10 CPU problems'

Testing now, but I've not noticed any improvement over FD yet.

this is my second EP45, and it's not working out for me

there is a fsb wall at exactly 449fsb. i was trying to hit 4.5ghz exactly with e8600, but it won't boot (i tried 6x450mhz, and does not boot). when booting at 10x449mhz (1mhz less than what i really want), it's stable for hours, even with the high multiplier. and anyone shed some light why my specific UD3P has such a low fsb wall? here's my settings in bios:

    450mhz fsb
    C.I.A.2 disabled
    X.M.P disabled
    MHC freq. latch 333mhz
    memory multiplier 2.40B (1080mhz)
    timing 5-5-5-18
    LLC enabled

    vcore 1.40v
    CPU term. 1.32v
    PLL 1.85v
    MCH core 1.36v
    DRAM 2.1v
    (everything else on auto)

for a dual core some of your voltages are very high.pll at 1.85 way to high.
    try these settings

    Load-Line Calibration - [Enabled]
    CPU Vcore..................................1.300...... .1.40
    CPU term....................................1.200..... ..1.28
    CPU PLL.....................................1.550..... ..1.57
    CPU ref......................................0.805.... ....normal

    MCH Core...................................1.100...... ..1.360
    MCH ref......................................0.760.... ....0.750
    ICH I/O......................................1.550...... ..normal
    ICH core.....................................1.100.... ....normal

DRAM Volt...................................1.500...... ..whatever your ram needs
    DRAM term...................................0.750...... ..normal
    channel A ref............................................... .normal
    channel B ref............................................... .normal

thanks robert! crap i mistaken the CPU PLL with some other voltages . this never went above 1.6v on my REX... brb before i get some CPU damage lol

EDIT: good news, i lowered PLL down to 1.57v and it now boots with 450mhz fsb. bad news, i think my CPU degraded from stressing it for hours (10x449fsb) with such accidental high vPLL

    Hello Guys

Do you know where can I get Gigabyte EP45-UD3P? It's unavailable wherever I ask for it, either inside my country or abroad...

    Yes, greetings from Poland

Thanks In-Fluence for your suggestion. I'll look around although I'm quite afraid of buying a pig in a poke... I must admit that I used to avoid any internet auctions because of that. But will give it a try. Thanks for help ones again guys.

I bought my 45t-ud3r off ebay and am happy I did but it was never my intention to push it too hard I have just kept to the sort of voltages found in the templates above because there will be no rma

Well, it's indeed very nice to meet someone from as far afield as south america, who has polish roots. I bet you get tan as red as me and ur best meal is grilled homely wurst with relish and Tyskie beer heh

As for beer, here's to you Guys. Cheers

So I've searched ebay a little and must say that not every seller has forgotten about UD3P yet In-Fluence, could u PM me? I'd like to ask u few questions concerning ebay. Thanks.
