Gigabyte X58A-UD3R high pitched noise

both the gigabyte x58 extreme and x58a ud5 I have squeal really bad under any kind of load, even with c1e off

What power supply? Like I said above, mine did with my Seasonic PSUs but doesn't at all with my OCZ.

my mobo has a funky ticking noise but all runs well and i cant hear any of it because i have more than 5cfm of airflow in my case...
my suggestion is turn up the speakers or buy a quieter case... Antec P180's were the ish for killing noise back in the day...

Obviously you're just not sensitive to it. I HAVE a P180 and I could hear it from outside of my room with the door shut. My airflow isn't the highest on the site, but it is already annoyingly loud to me. I am willing to bet that I just have a higher sensitivity to high-pitched noise than you do.
