Yaaa real pic i think its real idk

Score 3DMark Vantage Extreme : X14104, au lieu des X11506, pour une HD 5970 normale. Extreme: X14104, X11506, instead of for a standard HD 5970.

    http://translate.google.fr/translate...n&hl=&ie=UTF-8

X14104 not bad at all my friends 5870 CF scores around that i think if this is a reference by AMD maybe we will see cheaper hunks soon. GTX 480 may not be able to keep pace with this one tough very hard i would imagine.

I hope Sampsa doesn't consider this threadjacking, since he started it, I know he's got the same pics as well... But here's Ares in the nude.

for air and watercooling maybe it will rock but for subzero, I think not, why? Look for areas marked by red color

but there always is way to bench it

dual ss or resolder 2x8 pin and 6pin to the second side of pcb, but these caps don't look like they can be resolder

and if you need more powah, use another 8pin instead of 6 pin

    or two cpu pots

why asus didn't think about extreme overclockers when pcb was designing

Yep, I've noticed that as well. Not optimal in any way for LN2 cooling unless you have some really fat coldplates. :P

are you talking about EVGA weirdo GTX275+GTS250?

'cos in my book only new architecture on the market is AMD's DirectX 11 series of Evergreen accelerators, and this "God Of War" from ASUS uses that architecture!?!

Wel, regular HD5970 is not a walk in the park on sub-zero also, so sub-zero is not quite what this GFX is made for. The PLX chipr really hates cold with every little fiber of his beeing

Do I not understand it or it's a typo? Cause such a fan (10×3,2 cm) at 4200 RPM will fly out with your case like a heli

actually I think that at really high resolutions 2 of these should be faster than 4 x HD5870, mainly because it have 2GB per GPU..

Why pay £240 for 3 active adaptors on a 6 mini DP port card when all your going to run is 3 displays.

love the specs...but it looks like it is not going to be available until it's too late and will be really expensive for anyone to prefer them over a fermi.

The actual AIB costs will be left up to the partners and the retailers. Odds are none will be cheaper than ref cards but I think USD$700-800 may be accurate.

What I like about this card is that with 2 Deltas on those copper sinks, and with the sweet power regulation from the modified VRM, it will probably get killer clocks on air.

    why not?

this thing has an obviously kick-ass cooler along with better R870 chips with stock 5870 clocks and double the memory.

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw >1GHz on air with this, and for it to be the first single card to require an 850w PSU.

wonder if Dual ROG Fermi will need a 1000w PSU...
