Heh still waiting on a 5870, I have alot of spots that I haven't submuitted to with one, 03, vantage, aquamark.

I wouldn't worry about there "ahem 5870" strategy anyway. It will only carry weight as long as that is the top dawg card, once something dethrones it global points will go to hell and they will be back at square 1.

Did they do that with submissions or switching members? a sudden 2 place jump sure smells like the second option

You're right, currently they are gaining most of their points through "obvious" setups, we'll see what happens when Gulftown is released.

No, they did that with the existing members, which is quite impressive to be honest.

That is unacceptable after searching through my garage tonight I finally found my SLI bridge. Time to put my 295's and 9800gx2's on the board. From experiences what works best? HT on/off, granted off clocks higher and is turbo boost worth it?

I'm just guessing, maybe the i7 guys will have to correct me, but I think you should run 03, AM3 without HT, and 06, Vantage with HT, I'm not that sure about 05.

Be sure to run the cards in single card mode and SLI'd, this should give some nice points.

Looks like they attacked some of my scores with pure cpu power. Guess it's time to take off the gloves.

That's strange.... Can't see what did that.
OCA is not even 200 points away... Just a little more benching can take care if that IMO.

Well I lost some points in cpu bound benches for single cards. Thats part of the issue.

Time to stick my 4870x2 in my 24/7 rig and mod up all my single gpu 4XXX cards put them on ln2 and bench with more cpu power.

Got this 88GT running 740/1035 now on the stock cooler! Going to rip through some 3dmarks for the last time with this card.
The 88gts does 685 core up from 660 on air with this waterblock, probably going to retest it too.
    Anybody have a deal on a 4870, 8800 GTX, or 8800 GTS 512mb card?

Just got 13.1pts on 3dmark06 with a single 9800gx2 so looks like the dual setup along with all the other benchmarks should bring in a hefty share

EDIT: Why does 3dmark01 and 03 have to be so cpu dependent and trying to fix compatibility issues with aquamark and win7 64.

    AQM3 vista/win7 x64 patch here > http://www.mediafire.com/?qmnmzktcmjz (my upload)

copy both file replacing the ones in the folder, should be good to go

    btw
if you get a black screen at the end instead of the score
    close aqm3, delete directpll.dll and restart aqm3

    btw2
06 is cpu dependant too, i get nearly same score with my gtx295 stock versus overclocked with my i7 @ 4600mhz
try to increase your cpu frequency for 06, it will pay off more than gpu OC

Hey man... Great to see you working hard! you have a lot of points to get out if your cards and CPU.
AM3 scores really low with 64bit os.... Load a 32bit image if w7 and it'll run faster for all of the 3d benches especially am3... Also you will not need that patch.
I can give you some tips... I'll pm you when I get a chance tomorrow.

Looks like that new 88gtx wr that topped thijs's score had a better gpu oc but the CPU was at 4.1 on water... Guess the gpu is then the bottleneck considering his second place had a killer CPU score... Weird
Makes me want to get something to do a ghetto mount on my gpus with my cascade... I could run the CPU on water...
    Thoughts?

Yeah I'll switch over to 32 bit in the AM just ticks me off a little bit because then windows on uses 2GB of memory...anyways experimenting here with 110mhz pci
