I decided to give them a last chance, so I called their tech support hotline to see what they have to say.

In short what they told me ( and it did sound like the person on the other end of the line wanted to get rid of me asap! ) is... "I don't know anything about the coupon and the free game. Go to the shop please".

It's nice to see Asus is still providing their customers with... excellent support!
