That would be a REAL shocker as NVIDIA is currently worth $9.2B, and AMD (the owner of ATi) is currently worth $5.59B. So ATi would be buying a company that's likely worth 4X as much as them on the open market. (if you consider the ratio of AMD to ATi value when AMD purchased ATi outright)

You don't see that happen every day. Would be sort of like Jeep purchasing Chevrolet to make Corvettes.
