hahah yeah I know, we are just out in the middle of no-where on a big sandy rock, we call it Australia tax here. I could probably get you to buy me one and ship it here cheaper than buying it locally, thats why we shop overseas so much.

I have a cousin over there too, small world.

I picked one of these boards up to replace my BloodRage and noticed that C1E stops pulling voltage once the VCore is increased. Is there a workaround for this? EVGA's support wouldn't help me because I'm OC'd...which is so very helpful when I bought the grand daddy of x58 OCing boards. Unfortunately, it works fine as long as the VCore isn't increased so there's not really any way to convince them that this is an issue.

I wonder if there is a way to SLI 4 295's on the 4-way board?

    hai guy, help me please

    My system :
    Windows 7 64 bit
Mobo : Evga 760 3 SLI full waterblock from bitspower
    VGA : GTX 295 watercooling
Proccessor : intel xeon 3580 watercooling using heatkiller
    memory ddr3 triple channel 3 X 2 GB = corsair dominator GT 8-8-8-24
    Asus xonar HDAV 1.3
    PSU ; corsair 1000w

I did update the newest bios E76044, and I have a problem with the RAM setting which is 1867 / 2:14 in bios, but the result in cpuz is 1496 / 2:10. The timing is consistent in 8-8-8-24-74-1T, which is the correct one, actually ??? Or is there any possiblity that I have the problem with the bios ?

Pls also help me with the result of my overclocking, which is unstable with the system of my overclocking after I tried to add the bus speed to become 155 Pls find the below picture of setting bios :

There were dram multiplier issues with the beta 43 and there are still not fully resolved in the final 44, it seems. You can leave a comment on evga x58 forums in the appropriate bios thread.

I would disable "turbo performance" (does not really make sense, it's just the more frequent usage of the 2nd turbo multi).
Try to decrease CPU and IOH PLL to 1.5V. Play with various PWM frequency combinations as there's no receipe. CPU Impedance set to low and QPI signal compensation try mid or low - each cpu likes it different. QPI Frequency should be dropped by one multi at least when upping bclk speeds seriously.

I never use XMP. I recommend you writing down set timings (visible in grey) and set them manually. You may be able to omptimize them a bit to get to higher clocks. Maybe try to change trfc to 88 and see if it helps.

Now you should have enough to try for one day.

Wow, for the past 2 days I've been trying to break the 4.2x GHz on my 950 CPU, now I reached the 4.4x GHz and I am currently testing this!
I think I'll need another day or 2 to hopefully reach the 4.5 Ghz!

I'll post pics of the BIOS settings as soon as I complete and reach as much as possible......cross your fingers!

10.015 is my current low with the Classified at 4GHz. I am pleasantly surprised with the efficiency of approximately 39978. XP 32 Bit with heavily trimmed services was used.

Where did you end up with the MSI Eclipse?

This run was XP 32 Bit with services heavily trimmed. I will edit the OP.

So guys i killed my 295 and im looking to get a 5870 now and another one later (month or two) and crossfire them. Now if i cross fire those cards, i have a 8600gt laying around I could use for phyrics, if i do this will the board go into 8x/8x/8x mode? Or because its crossfire would it be 16x/16x and physix?

    It will be 16x/8x/8x

You only get 32 lanes with an e760, first slot gets priority, then the 3rd, the 2nd and 4th are default 8 (This is what I got from EVGA when I was contemplating this board, which i did end up buying, and confirmed with my 3 gtx275s (not very extreme :/))

10.000 appears to be the the best I can do at 4GHz with the 760 Classified & XP. I suspect that I have hit the efficiency wall.

If other Classified users can get better efficiency out of their board at 4GHz, please post.

I am pretty sure every X58A-*** should easily hit 4GHz. My X58A-UD7 had no problems hitting 4900MHz. It just can't break 237bclk.

My question was focused of SuperPi efficiency (Result Time * Core Freq i.e. 10.000 * 3998.9 = 39989). I was not addressing Max Frequency.
I have run Super Pi 1M @ 5GHz on this chip.

Good run there Larry, I am at 10.15 with the MSI (can't tweak anything via eg CPU Tweaker which is a big letdown and very important to nibble off the last precious milliseconds...) Any tighter timings in the bios is a no go for the OS. MSI's Uncore was 4200 max otherwise no post... with the classie like you 4400Mhz uncore was no biggie...

Is yours the regular classified and not the 4Way SLI ? I wished my REX II was out of RMA so I could cross check, maybe Massmans Giga UD7 could show me light The MSI is pretty maxed out lol

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

Yes, This is the regular 760 (3 Way SLI Classified). I do not have any experience with the 4 way.
