this configuration that ASUS made is the best one for Eyefinity... Basically any monitor today that has DVI has HDMI to.
Also you can output picture on two DVIs and HDM at the same time, so two DVIs are redundant.
Fianlly any DP monitor out thare that's needed for Eyefinity has DVI and HDMI ports also.
i dont get why display makers arent using dp... i thought its license is free?
Yes it's free, but it's a game of chicken and egg... obviously monitor manufacturers expect that ALL graphic cards in ALL segments have DP... ofr two years, and then they'll go with DP on ALL monitors...

Why are they still including these massive, legacy-looking ports? I mean they can all be converted to DVI if people still use monitors with those connectors anyway, can't they?
