Can anyone confirm what is being replaced on the T3?
My replacement package just arrived the other day and it only contains the main res body, along with some thumbscrews and o-rings.
Am I safe to assume I can use the old pump mounting plate (the one which supposedly come from a mfg in China) without a problem?
Or is it supposed to have the pump mount plate inside the package??
I'm just really paranoid at the moment.

At this time we are sending out the following
- replacement body (PEC Version Only)
- New Side Mounting Screws 2 Sizes
- One Short size which will cover 90% of all cases on the market
- One Long size which are intended for users using acrylic cases with thicker side panels
- Fatter Orings for current Ghost and Ghost Compression users to enable a better seal
As for the mounting bracket, we are switching out users that received the Phillips head M4 screws and thinner acrylic mount to the revision 2.
Revision 2 is a 3/8 acrylic mounting bracket and M4 Allen Head Screws w/ wrench.
If you have the first version of the Mounting System (Phillips Head) please contact us and we will switch you out to the rev2 version. This is only for users experiencing issues.
Please contact us at t3rma at primochill.com
From Everyone at PrimoChill we appreciate your patience during this transition to USA Made T3's. We are working hard everyday to insure that we can delivery the best possible product to you all.
Again, thank you.
Thanks for the prompt reply.
Really appreciate it.
Seems that I got the old version.
It's thin and uses philips screws.
I've just sent an email with a photo of the pump mount.
Thanks Brian I just received mine but for some reason the new thicker orings do not fit when using the plastic provided compression fittings.
The orings fit ok but the compression fittings do not screw fully in and when tighened a far as I can can fit them, the orings look like they are trying to burst.
I then did a leak test and one leaked.
They fit okay when using the led holders.
I then went back to the old orings and they appear to be holding the water out a bit better.
Time to get metal compression fittings.
Can anyone recommend what fittings I should buy?
BP fittings? Or the enzotech ones are pretty cheap on newegg!!![]()

I must be cursed!
I received the new T3 and all seemed ok.
I had a look today and there was a puddle on the top of my blueray drive under my T3.
Water is leaking from the where the pump is attached with the bracket.
I have tightened and loosened the bracket and tried everything.
It still leaks.
I am also using the new bracket with the Allen key fittings.
Hey, my first post! Glad to be here. Wish it was about a different subject
I bought a T3 at the end of Sept. directly from Primo. I got all the extras I could, $106 +ship.
With work, family, and cash flow I'm only now getting to my new build.
First off, I've spent the last 2 days free time reading about the failures of the T3, catching up on this thread & others. I'm glad the issues are being resolved, however I'm a little confused about replacement parts, and the conditions to receive them.
From everything I've read on the internet, I have no confidence I can install this in the build configuration I had in mind. I would need to run it on the bench for 2 weeks minimum, before I could trust it. And ultimately I'll never trust this not to crack and leak
I'm new to watercooling, but I've collected a bunch of really cool parts, this was one of my favorites, because of all that's good about the T3 design.
[Thanks Box Gods, I know it's been a rough road, but I think it's a good design, with some obvious bugs.
Dam cheap materials/incompetent suppliers.
Although you need to pay close attention to balancing the flow of the parallel loops, & not to over rpm the pump in a low restriction system, IMHO. But I knew that going in, as I followed this thread from the start. Probably the most controversial product since I've been in the hobby. Still it offers a unique solution for those able to think in parallel. Absolutely want a delrin version, in red/black]
Back to the original intent of this post. Are we expected to run these till they fail, to get the piece of mind of a US made T3? I think you should ofter replacement to all questionable T3's. There is no way I can trust this with my new i7,Classified,SSD's,HDD's, etc...
Also, others who have received replacements have reported not getting the top fill port they paid for. Why? This is a make or break feature for me, as I can't flip the case on its back to fill or service.
Part of the warranty should be to get a reliable product, with the extras we paid for. If it's about time, I'll be happy to wait, as I understand & sympathize with your predicament.
I look forward to more cool products from Primochill, and I have not yet requested a RMA, but would like the official policy, more clear.
Thanks

My exact sentiments. Mine is still brand new but I simply can't trust it to run long enough without cracking, thus I bought an XSPC dual DDC for 2 loops.
It would be really nice to get it replaced with the better version T3 without waiting for the old T3 to crack, which is now a paperweight for me.
I was sent 2 new T3 for my 2 faulty T3.
I have swapped the faulty new one with the other second replacement and all is okay again.
No leaks and seems to be running okay.
Now just to get the faulty one packed and off to primochill.
I thought it was a faulty pump bracket or pump o-ring but looking at the res it seems that there was a mold fault at the bottom.
It's like a sharp knife cut part of the bottom edge.
Not ignoring you guys, but since Brian from Primo Chill seems to be following the thread now I will let him address your issues--he is only about 350 posts behind me
Kidding aside him responding directly seems faster then you guys posting, me reading it, messaging him for an answer then responding here. Especially since my continued involvement with the injection molded T3 (or any other designs for Primo Chill) is in limbo right now. If you listen close you can almost hear the lawyers and the forum blood baths warming up just off stage. The fiddle you hear is Nero tuning up.
We should start a pool on who will throw the first stone. I know who will be throwing the last one =)

Seriously, people need to cool there jets
After what happened here in the past, caused me to partially stop coming here.
It's a freaking hobby, its supposed to be fun.
I'm not pissed yet, I haven't lost any hardware, but hope the deal is made good.
I want Primo to continue w/the T3, and other cool bay res. designs.
Most people need all the room inside a case they can get. And I have some large case's, I want the room for rads. and other cool sh*t.![]()

Not to derail the oncoming horde but is there any word or sexy new pics of the delerin T3?
ASUS P7P55D
Intel CORE i7-860
EVGA 8800gt 512mb
Corsair 800D
Yeah where is the delrin T3?
I love the design T3 and in a reply to the post above.
Pc gaming and modding is most definately a hobby for me even with all the little faults and foibles it brings with it.
The teething problems of the T3 have not put me off the design one bit.
Brian,
Well I am just curious if Primo is going to replace the defective T3's that have ports on the top with ones that do not? I do not want to start an RMA and get something I cannot use. I would rather just go another route since there are other options. I am also concerned about where the screw mounts are located on the original ones. Mine does not line up with my Corsair 800D case and it just would not look right sticking out an 1/8" in the front of the case. Do the new ones fit correctly?

Of course your not knocking the design! Your the designer;-) Seems like most haters aren't here anymore, Good.
I want this to work in my current build, it's all planned out, has to work. I also must have a Delrin T3 for my next dream machine, on second though, probably 2 of them
As far as fit, personally, I'll make fit anything, almost anywhere. I void my psu warranty's just for custom length cables.
Love modding! Takes me forever to finish my builds.![]()
