I wonder if the EP45-UD3P (1.0, 1.1) BIOS will ever come out of f10.f beta and finally become a full release.
Just bought a Q9450 this afternoon for $150, and sold my Q6600 for $120 this evening. It's a modest, but nonetheless noticeable boost, and I'm happy to be using less power.
So they are actually continuing work on F10, then? Good to know, since 10f is the most recent on the US site, and that's dated August of `09.![]()

you know what, i was so busy using 475fsb 24/7 i never attempted to go higher.
480x7 = 1024k orthos passed
485x7 = 1024k orthos passed
490x7 = locked up 1 minute 55 seconds into orthos blend
still 1.3 vtt 1.24 mch 2.2 vdimm
it was an unusually cold day so my 24/7 setting remains 475x7

Could anyone offer some advice on o/cing an E5200 on a UD3L? I used to have this thing @ 3.33GHz on stock cooling with a slight Vcore bump on an EP35-DS3L, but that board had a failed BIOS flash and I replaced it with this board. I've tried the stock multi and 9.5x.
Edit: spoke too soon. 12.5x272 (3.4GHz) @ 1.275V works, no other voltages adjusted.

this is my new 24/7 setting, passed 1 and a half hours orthos before i got impatient and stopped it.
1.3 vtt 1.24 mch 2.2 vdimm
485 fsb also passes 1024k orthos but im sticking to 480 fsb for guaranteed stability in games. besides cant complain about 10k write and copy
490 fsb locks up after a couple minutes orthos blend but thats to be expected

heh guys whats the current best DDR2 kits you can buy for overclocking. I was just checking out Newegg and there seems to be alot of new kits I have never seen before, and some of the other ones I thought were real good are no longer there.

G.Skill PIs FTW!
Failing that you could get some Tridents which will do over 1200 as well.
The ripjaws are another option, but with rather naff 6-6-6-18 timings.
I think most manufacturer's have quit the DDR2 PC9600 game, which leaves us with very little choice.

Finally got my account activated. So hi, I have an EP45-UD3P. Had an E8400 but just sold it. Was a nice chip, this was on air, http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=958902
Now just waiting on my E8700 for some air cooled action.
weird, board passes orthos blend at 480fsb yet if i was to play tf2 for a while, quit the match then suddenly start up a new server it will crash to desktop and come up with an error about memory unable to be read. imo thats an mch error, happens at 450fsb too just not as often. only certain fix is to lower fsb to 425. i guess the mch cant handle the stress of the high temps caused by gaming combined with having to load a tf2 map.
