Sweet merciful God... and it survived? Those parts are either Jesus or Juggernaut.

While not PC related, here's some sleeving inspiration I've brought to the automotive level
Looks a bit sloppy in those pics but on the car its wild. I needed some see thru to make sure wire color is correct when hooking up in car.
And my masterpiece:
Just picked up a 800D case so I am going to get into sleeving again. Ordering some small white to go with my small blacks!
i see a snail and a very big radiatorjk.
specs on that or more pics?

can someone suggest me what to do with this situation?
my enermax revo has a few of these 3 into 1 joints. how do i sleeve that and still look good?

its a '92 BMW 525 I've had since high school (2002ish). I've turbo'd it and supercharged it a couple times but this is my latest setup. Its a 76mm turbo on a 2.9L built motor. Custom everything really. I have to put the nitrous and methanol back in yet.

Does everyone use a "lighter" for heat shrinking their heat shrink? What do you all use for shrinking the heat shrink?
My first post here, I'd like to make it worthy!
What do you guys think?
@fitseries: I would use extension cables on those, or extend just the offending wires.
I use a heatgun - a lighter can easily burn things. The braiding doesn't like being subject to fire. It curls up. You can see it in some members photos.
Do you guys heatshrink the wire and then put it in th econnector? or put it in the connector and slide the heatshrink down inside and then shrink it?
Yes Xien: Couldn't be better! Just the third red from the right in the 24 pin could use more "tension". A huge pleasure to see so many nice pictures here ... and of course the great car-setup
The question with the enermax-split-cable: I would replace the cable with a single one. Xien - soldermasterfromhelicopterhell - what would you do? Trust Xien, he knows what he does![]()
If there is a use for all three wires they have to stay like this.
In the case that you don't need two of the three you can take only one...
But this way of splitting cables (from one ATX-pin to three) does not make any sense because the bigest Resistance in the circuit is the one of the Plugs.
The hardware developers use 3 or 6 Connectors for +12V and 0V to reduce the resistance and to ensure a solid voltage.
So do you need all cables?
i'll grab another pic of the cable when i get home but the problem is that one ground splits out to 3 grounds on the pcie connector.
i guess my only option is to eliminate the 1 -> 3 and recrimp each of the 3 wires as a pair on the PSU end of the cable. that way there will be no splice joint at all.
i have to cut down these cables anyways so it wont be a problem.
i guess enermax has a design flaw here.
