Could it handle a Radeon 5870 or am I better off sticking with my MCR-220?
I have an old PA160.1 sitting in box of pc stuff so if it performs better i'd much rather use that for obvious reasons

Did anyone save the old performance data from TC's old site? If anyone could post that I would be grateful.
I wish I could know for sure if the PA160.1 is a better performer then the MCR-220. I can't fit both unfortunately and have to choose 1 to use in my gpu loop.

PA 160 is better; I researched both several years ago but had to go with the Swifty since I couldn't find the PA in stock anywhere. That said, the PA was a little over US$100 whereas the MCR was much cheaper.

Problem is its a big rad.. so it might not fit in all cases in all orientations.

it is very nice, too bad we will be transitioning to 140mm for the next few years, by the time 160mm takes off, you will find that one in a antiques shop.
the PA160 was intended for use with a shroud and 120mm fans
id think a 3$ 160mm yate fan (when they exist) + 160mm rad will demolish any 140 and 120mm rads/fan combos in noise and performance, with the only drawback being space
