You're right in that OCZ Blade RAM doesn't comply with JEDEC standards but not because of voltages. Any ddr2 speed beyond 800mhz is not standardized. I'm confident the ram could've kept running at that voltage but I put it down to 1.8v to test with the other PSU.

Edit: And actually the maximum ddr2 should handle is 2.3v I just checked. Says it should remain stable up to 1.9v but still be able to handle up to 2.3v without permanent damage. It's just like how CPUs have maximum allowed voltages, I think 45nm Intels are at 1.36v maximum.
RAM manufacturers did never care a lot about JEDEC specs, there were sticks featuring D9GMH/GKX that were rated for 2.5V, though it was never specced by JEDEC. These LV Blades will degrade very fast at more than 2.0V, they already get warm at 1.9V. This is not your typical DDR2 memory, forget about JEDEC. Please understand, I don't want to sound rude, but what you're doing is very dangerous for your memory.

And by the way, DDR2-1066 IS standardized.
