Yes, I am aware of that link, they are out of stock.

So it looks like this part

'Apogee XT Hold-Down plate for AMD socket 754,770,939,940, AM2,AM3 and Intel Xeon socket 771'

    is in short supply.

Its also available on the Swiftech website, but only for Americans.

What about the rest of the World?

It wouldn't be a concern if there were a plethora of etailers selling the part, but this isnt the case, as I am sure peeps would have posted the info here.

So, as things stand, how is one meant to buy this part?

So much for the hypothesis that there is 'little' demand for these configurations, because as things look the supply chain is completely strained!

Gabe, would you please comment (yeah, probably not your most favourite forum member, )

After not coming around here for what... a year. I come back and see this.

Ability to change inlet port orientation to facilitate larger barbs (compression fittings)... GENIUS!

Not excited enough to replace my V2 Fuzion but in future builds!

    Thanks.

That's what I am doing, it has worked really well for me.

I wish I had some more of those o-rings to put on my BP fittings that are in a DD Acetal T, They seep there!

Heatkiller definitely. You won't notice that much of a difference in terms of temps, but the quality on the HK is worlds better than the XT.

I have to say that I didn't expect to see this many people having problems with their XT's. I also don't know anything about HK's.

Really, Gabe has been outstanding with support. Don't know of many manufacturers that have support from the CEO like that.

I know that my XT has worked beautifully out of the box. I also know that there were two XT's available when I picked mine up at Micro Center in KC. I had to return the one I picked first, it was missing a screw in the "flippable" fitting side.

Still, the one they exchanged it for has been flawless. No complaints here whatsoever. Really happy with this waterblock.

I'm extremely happy with my XT. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it inside or out. Temps are much better than my old Fuzion v.2 (as expected of course). Gabe's support is also second to none.

Can anyone speak to the build quality compared to the GTZ? I'm not 100% happy with mine. My temps are great, but the block felt a little flimsy to me for some reason.
