Corsair H50 watercooling a quick look

1) I think the TRUE is one of the most widespread coolers, I use it daily on all my platforms for pretesting... then I switch to phase to end up with LN2 for final bench runs... it might not be the best, but it remains one of the top performers... seems to me you think I delibirately twisted performance in some sort of way. To please Corsair ?

2) I try to keep my reviews as basic as possible, I myself don't like a zillions of graphs. I try to put myself in the readers position , most just switch to the result and verdict pages anyway...

3) Like I mentioned Corsair wasn't happy due to the fact they claimed a 10°C win over the TRUE. My first review sample was on par or just slightly behind my biased TRUE setup . The new sample was better. You want to know why ? First sample had 2 screws slightly protruding on the base, not noticeable with S775 and AM3 tests, but on I7 it had lesser contact and performance impact was bigger.

4) The plastic mount is easy to use and provides perfect pressure on a non lapped CPU. If you lap your CPU you might end up in the same way as with the Swiftech kits... some things are precalculated and changing the variables ain't a good thing...

5) If you don't like my reviews so be it, but I see to many flaws in that review you pointed out (written by or not by you), if that's your bible, good for you... to me if a reviwer can't even adhere to a 5 step manual coz he thinks he reinvented the wheel again ...

6) But in the long run test results are very similar... as the IFX14 is a few degrees better then a TRUE... so aren't the TRUE and H50 pretty matched in some builds ? some builds better, some slightly worse... al depending on the variables...

7) IFX14 it's a load more expensive too then the H50 in my country H50 retails at 60 euro's vs 75 for the IFX with fan. If that's worth the 3-4°C okay, but loads of cases can't manage an IFX14 nor TRUE install.

I'm done discussing this as maybe you don't even own the H50 and are solely basing yourself on some statements or pure speculating from the darkest part of your brain...
