    Nice job on the blocks. I'm a bit confused. I see where you had some build up in them - did that damage the original nickel plating? (Just trying to understand why you had them plated).

    Also - any hints for getting the o-ring back in place after taking off the plexi?

    yes, the nickel layer was unfortunately broken. Thats why i'm plated them.


    Put the rubber seal on the under side, put the plexi on the Top and fixed it smoothely with one screw.

    Now you can push from the outside the rubber seal with a toothpick to the right position and than fixed the plexi with the next screw etc.

    Shaz, I found a really easy way to do it.

    Start at one end and use a bit of water to lube up the rubber/plexi. Put it in the channel and slide the plexi over it as you go to hold it in place. Will take you all of 1 min to put them back on.
