I'm awaiting a heed canamp and some akg 601s but it is more or less going to stay like this.

I call her "Modern Industry"
There are many beautiful rigs in this gallery and the older ones. This is my first serious custom build with limited time, budget, tools... But I'm very happy with it and hope you enjoy.

No--I turned off WCG for the upgrade & subsequent stress-testing. I just popped the chip in a few days ago and so WCG stays off (lest it crash my system when I'm not expecting it--IE on a few benchmarks to help out XS on HWBot). I made a tiny mistake and ran as an0n since upgrading from Vista-HP64 to 7-Pro64. I forgot last night, but I need to P95 it now.
I am VERY glad that my IP35-E is working with this chip, even if not entirely. I can work with FSB400*10; I really didn't/don't want to spend $75 for a Foxconn ELA P45--that board could be better but it also could be worse, and I don't need quad-monitors. I'll be picking up a Radeon HD 5750 sometime soon--I made the mistake initially of picking up a 256MB HD3850, though that's all there was available. This time I won't make the same mistake--I know I have plenty of gfx p0w4h for most games on medium settings, but 256MB holds me back in certain titles (like GTA4; was $5 on Steam).
The nice thing, though, is I'm 25% faster than before. Here's the real numbers... I won't be doing anymore E2140 benches though! :-P
SuperPi 1M
E2140: 19.696s
E6300: 14.437s
36.4% faster
SuperPi 32M
E2140: 993.41s
E6300: 809.415s
22.7% faster
World Community Grid
E2140: Total Average 6207.1 points per real day (most recent install average 6,521.28 points per real day)
E6300: TBD
I'll figure out about how many points per day that this processor will do starting tomorrow. I want to get a full 24 hours of P95-small FFT out of the way first, and perhaps a following 12 hours of large FFT. I had prior crashes based on voltage, but I ended up setting 1.475v in BIOS (1.43-1.44v according to CPU-Z). I may declare the PC out of WCG comission for a few more days at least; I want to drop voltages before I end up killing something.
