Ok, I made a simply reply to your response, no need to get all defensive.
No, I do not own the board, and I know that it is not the final version, but I still think that it will be very difficult to come up with a heatsink design to sufficiently cool the 3 very hot chips without interfering with the PCIe slots. And odds are, if you have $450-$550 to spend on a motherboard, $2000 to spend on CPUs, and at least $400 to spend on RAM (not to mention the large/multiple PSUs, large case, GPUs, etc.), an additional $150 for a full cover watercooling block would be peanuts.

16A fuse in 230v, hmm 3680W.. 1 single household power loop is enoughtand leaves room for about 480watt's for screens etc and this system would not use 3200watts anyway, i think max about 2000-2400watts needed witch makes shure single household power loop is enought for everything i need
EDIT : oh wait, you're from usa, 110v grid right? that makes sense 2 separate loops..

ye, but you cant get 4 gtx285 cards working in quad sli if there are no nf200 between them
formats... yeah... that is a bit odd... but then again, whoever wants this thing is not going to worry about the format at allso i think its not a problem to go for a custom standard...
so itll basically pull as much as a big water boiler or vacuum cleaner, but itll get you crysis in 3d on a huge display... now that IS something i can see people with enough cash getting interested in![]()

Well, my vacuum cleaner takes 1200Watts, close to same amount my current i7 rig takes power.
Boiler tough in my house takes around 4000wattsthat is running trought 3stage power each line going trough 16amp fuse thats 3680watts per-line but its spread evenly to all power lines, even tough that boiler is not active 24/7, if it would then my power bill would be astronomical
.
Houses main fuse 25amps, thats about 5700watts per line.
I only wish ATI would make crossfire support for 6 or 8-gpu's (4xHD5970 or 3xHD5970 + GTX285 for PhysX) that machine would be beast.

Never said it was.
But why should I pay so much for this that needs a specialised PSU and chassis when I can get a SM board that's basically the same.
SM boards can OC as proven by Particle and his 6core cpus running nice and high.
So in the end like I have stated before there will be a place for this, but the people buying it obviously don't have money as an issue or reliability since it doesn't even use ECC.
So my opinion stands that this just isn't a great board atm, but I'm sure someone will buy it/recieve for free and clock the hell out of it since they'll probably also be getting that 2500W PSU it might need![]()

Well, I for one can't believe the negativity shown towards this new product. Not enough of this, doesn't support that, too much power, won't fit in my case... etc. etc. blah blah blah. This is XTREME SYSTEMS and this board represents a tremendous advancement that incorporates some outstanding features, progressive ones at that which will push the limits and open doors for newer and better products down the line. It might not be for everyone, deal with it.... nothing ever is. Hats off to Shamino and the eVGA team for even attempting to bring this board to market. When it does arrive, I for one WILL be purchasing it, and I WILL save up for processors to put in it, and I will enjoy the heck out of it.
Sorry for the rant, but come on folks.....we have something here which is new and exciting.....ENJOY IT!!!!![]()

I bet this board gets OEM's by the e-Peen specialty vendors like Maingear, Falcon, etc. looking to get mainstream reviews which say fastest PC evar. (I'd mention Alienware and Voodoo in that list, but who knows what their corporate overlords will permit.)
Ignoring child-like mentality and e-peen, why would anyone buy this?
AMD's Maneralo platform is due this quarter with Magny Cours followed by Thuban sometime later.
Right now, I am picture 2 or 3 people jumping up and down whilst holding their bodies in a rigid stance; no bending of the knees as one would normally have. "heh heh heh it overclocks massive heh heh heh" "but fellas, the board is not a good design." "LOLZOZLZ STFU!!!"
Take a little look at Xtreme teams forum, there's this DC asylym called World Commynity Drid forum, i know a hand full of people who are ready buy that board right now if it were in stores
