try different cables? sounds strange but i was having a boot problem that got to the point i wiped my vista install and put a fresh copy of windows 7 on and after i got it installed when it called on the HD it gave me the same error! i unplugged & plugged back in the SATAs a bunch of time with no change, but when i used new cables it booted right up. couldnt really believe i wiped my whole OS cause of damn cables
